## FAQs

### Is consent required for EPFO lookup?
Yes. Eko's Employee Verification API includes a consent flow compliant with DPDP Act 2023. The employee provides explicit consent before any employment data is fetched.

### What if an employee hasn't registered with EPFO?
For informal workers without EPFO records, the pack falls back to reference check support via our partner network and address verification via Aadhaar.
